Sketching is where images germinate, skills improve and an ideas take on wings. Over the years, I have used many papers to doodle on, draw what was before me and just pass the time. But within the last two years, I have decided to invest in a quality sketchbook Venezia by Fabriano. It’s a true workhorse, able to take large quantities of water and pigment, small enough to fit in a purse or lap, sturdy with a beautiful cover of the modern mosaic at San Marco, Venice.
and sometimes, I have use charcoal or pencil on Mayfair and Somerset printmaking paper.
